What Writing Means To Me

Words matter a lot to us. It touches us in a way we can start crying or get a special feeling when certain things are said.

When I read a story I want to be touched by that story. The words should be chosen wisely by the writer and the story must be told very well. I also want to be inspired by the writers’ thoughts and story approach. I want to feel connected to the story.

As I write stories, I want to achieve the same for my readers. I want to feel a connection with them. And I want them to feel connected with me. Stories must have an educational approach as wel as entertaining us.

Some stories must be told because the writer had been through something in the past. I think that must be told to let the readers know that there is not such a thing as a perfect life. You may cry if people hurt you and let you down. People have to talk about it, to heal and to educate others. This is such an important life skill. That’s what I want to do with my stories.

Stories are all over the world, most of the time in tiny little places and spots. Personal stories such as stories you told by friends or family and at the office. Stories are worth to be told.

Writing means a lot to me. I can use writing as the outlet of my emotions. Emotions I keep to myself because I want to avoid some contact with people.

What are situations you’re in that turned out different than expected? This kind of questions must be asked before starting your story.
