What Would You Never Buy Even If It Was 99.99% Off?
Surprise, Surprise!!
Have you ever wondered about something you wouldn’t buy even if it was almost free? That’s what we’re exploring in this article. We’ll see what are some of the things that people won’t consider buying or subscribe to even it is 99.99% off.
Everything in this article is hand picked from a Q&A that went viral with top ratings. So everything you see in the list below is voted to the top by thousands online.
Lets see what are some of the things that people will never consider buying even if its almost free.
- USA Today
USA today is at the top of the list as it got the most votes for ‘not worth buying even its 99.99% off’.
USA Today is is an American daily middle-market newspaper and news broadcasting company for those who don’t know (highly unlikely) with an average print circulation of 159,233 as of 2022.

Comment from an online user: I used to spend 50 cents a day on it, years ago, and now they’re advertising $1 for an entire year. That’s 99.23% off…and i still don’t want it.
2. LinkedIn Premium
I tried USA Today for free for a month because they offered a free trial. But I realized it’s not worth paying for unless you’re a recruiter who needs to find specific group of people.
Comment from an online user: Every time I get a notification like “You’re being noticed, 6 people viewed your profile this week” I’m like, so the recruiters are still out there doing their jobs? Well done LinkedIn
3. Trump sneakers
I didn’t even know it exist until today. When I see people talking about these I did a quick peek to see how it looks and I found Trump even made a website to sell these — gettrumpsneakers.com, it is sold out!!?

Comment from an online user: This is the answer for “What would you never buy even if it was 99.99% off?”. In fact I’m wondering how much you’d have to PAY ME to wear them once.
4. Single Ply Toilet Paper
These are 1 ply toilet paper that I am talking about, the one made from a single layer of paper. This kind of toilet paper is not good because it’s thin and doesn’t soak up as much. You might need to use more of it, and it can tear easily, making it less effective for cleaning.
Comment from an online user: Okay so I know this is not in the spirit of the post but this is something close to my… well… butt. Cheep toilet paper is a waste of money. You end up using double or more and going through it way quicker than thicker toilet paper while simultaneously having a much much worse wiping expense. I have done the experiments. I know.
5. An HP Printer
HP inkjet printers can be seen as not so good because they cost more for ink, the ink cartridges run out fast, and they can have more problems with printing compared to other types of printers.
Comment from an online user: My favorite thing was running out of ink and popping in a fresh one, only to discover that I couldn’t use the cartridge because I wasn’t a monthly subscriber of fresh ink (insert clown emoji)
6. Starbucks Oleato
An Oleato, which means “oiled” in Italian, is a coffee drink made by Starbucks infused with olive oil. If you ask me how it is…, it tastes like pretty generic unsweetened coffee that’s been loaded with too much cream.
Comments from an online user: All I could think when I heard olive oil coffee was “oh good now I have lube for my diarrhea.”
Another one commented:
Had a barista compel me to try one when they first came out. Took one sip and nearly threw up. Guy made me my regular right after on the house.
7. Black Eyed Peas For $0.01
I agree they had some good songs back in the 2010s. Sorry and sad to hear the concert went poorly. Grocery store now have black eyed peas for $0.01, people just kept on passing them by and they were still stocked by the end of the day.

When it reach much attention people start talking about real black eyed peas and diverted. One of the funny comment was:
I do not understand this! They’re my favorite canned beans because they’re tasty and tender AND cute and I don’t notice much a difference in taste or texture from pintos or white beans. During the initial COVID freakouts with people hoarding food to prepare for lockdown, I couldn’t believe all the beans were gone except black eyed peas! This couple near me, the guy was like “let’s just get these?” and his partner who was freaking out was like “ew, omg NOOOO!” She literally refused to “allow” him to put any in their (quite empty) cart. I was, and remain, perplexed about this. 💀
Above are some of the things that people will never buy or subscribe to even its almost free.
Here are some other things that goes to list:
- Anything the Kardashians sell
- Joel Osteen books
- Anything from an MLM
- An X-nee-Twitter subscription
- A meal at Salt Bae’s Restaurant
Hope you enjoyed reading the list. Please let me know in comments what are some of the things that deserves to be included to the list.
Thank you!
