What Was It?
March Six Word Photo Story Challenge: “Pet People”
A walk, trot, canter, or gallop.
The dictionary tells us that the word ‘pet’ is “an animal, a bird, etc. that you have at home for pleasure, rather than one that is kept for work or food.” Even though that is true to some extent, I personally consider a pet part of the family.
We love them, we feed them, and we take care of them wanting nothing back in return. Even when they can’t live in our homes due to their size. I wouldn’t exactly say that horses are pets, but we still love them, feed them, and take care of them.
I encountered the mud prints as I hiked through a farm area up in the hills. There were several perfect mud prints indicating they were going on an easy walk. The mud prints were dry during my hike, the next rain will probably wash them away.
