What Triggered My Writing Success?

It is simpler than you think

I was back in October. Things had calmed down at my job, and I wanted a personal project. Something to keep me motivated besides work, kids, and fitness.

I also wanted to pay for a few house projects, as we have a house that needs to be fixed.

So I tried a few things here and there, but nothing quite worked. During the process, I wrote a handful of stories.

In early November, I was aimlessly scrolling through my email when I saw I had a deposit of about $3 on my account. It came from this platform.

What? My stories made something? I started wondering whether it was even possible to make money from my writing. I love writing. I write to myself all the time. Could I monetize something I was already doing?

But wait a second. Is it even possible? I started reading other authors.

It was!!!

Many of you were telling the story of how you made it. How, after being consistent with the craft, you were now making a beautiful side hustle out of writing your thoughts.
