What To Do When You Have Nothing To Write About
Here’s your one most reliable content source
For writers, life is our material, which means our everyday experiences give us all the content we need to write — even if you’re a fiction writer or poet.
When you don’t have anything to write about, think about what you learned from the day, remember who you interacted with, recall what happened to you throughout the day.
Questions
- Were there any special moments of enlightenment?
- Did you find something humorous?
- Did you experience sadness or joy?
Write about it, and transmit your story to the world. No matter how trivial you might find your day, someone else will find meaning in it.
I love the challenge of writing about what I learned for the day; it keeps me present, and constantly in research mode for new writing material.
