Opinions

Ihave heard the mournful cry of the mourning dove on a cloudy, rainy Spring morning. His song is so lonesome in tone, what is it that he longs for, is searching for?
His song strikes deeply my heart and spirit. It vibrates within me, because, I too, am searching and longing.
Searching for answers to questions which keep recurring.
Why does mankind treat each other as we do… with words of hate and missiles of death?
Why do we dismiss the homeless man with sunken eyes who sits on the street corner, bereft of hope?
Why do we forget the children who have seen their parents murdered right before their eyes?
These are questions that I fear have no answers… but yet, I search.
