This is short rant was provoked by an article published via the BBC World Service which is dated August 2014.

Why some feminists say women bosses are just ‘a decoy’

This article may be dated 2014, but my rant is relevant even though it’s 2020.

Whether feminists are saying this or non-feminists; whether you agree or disagree with the article, labeling a female in an executive position as a ‘decoy’ is not nearly as insulting as accusing (“whispering”) that she slept her way to the top. I have worked for really good women bosses and heard that constantly. These ladies were high-caliber professionals, qualified and expert in their field, and knew how to manage and motivate others to get the job done!

So now women are not being labeled whores and sluts; they’re just decoys! What a step up! This is so ludicrous.

Exactly what should the woman do if offered a position she’s qualified for?
