What My Sudden Fascination with Keanu Reeves Taught me About Authenticity

There’s no denying, he is pretty rad

This high achiever presents a down-to-earth demeanour with a hefty dose of endless dedication. Keanu Reeves’ generosity and kindness are astounding. His choices and attitude are nothing short of inspirational.

For a long time, I denied my love for sci-fi and Taylor Swift (that’s a different story). Only now, as I get to know myself with more solidity have I dug out my passion for science fiction.

So my partner has been introducing me to a lot of Keanu Reeves movies 🎥 Which has been exciting so far!

His Authenticity and passion burst off the screen.

Here is what I have learned from my brief obsession.

Give like no one is watching

“Money is the last thing I think about. I could live on what I’ve already made for the next few centuries” — Keanu

Being in the public eye consumes some, but not this guy. Keanu has been said to take significant pay cuts to celebrate the background workers or to keep others in their roles.

This worldwide sensation has been said to give to many different charities and chooses to remain anonymous. His kindness and attitude towards having money are something we don’t see too often.

He gives not because he “has to” but because that is just the kind of person he is. He seems to treat everyone from every walk of life with the same authentic respect and kindness.

This humble dude won’t let fame get to his head and I find this hugely inspiring.

Stay Humble

Keanu means “cool breeze over the mountains”

He lifts others up not only with how he uses his money but from what I can collect on the wild web Keanu seems like an authentic being who genuinely wants to raise others up.

He actively works to get to know people around him and pushes to make sure others are treated equally. As I mentioned above he does not brag or even mention his huge donations to charities.

As well as this, this guy seems to be just a genuinely humble dude. He takes road trips with strangers, walks dogs in the middle of shoots, and certainly doesn’t change himself for others.

Keanu Reeves is the nicest most authentic celebrity I’ve ever found. The way he uses his actions and the power of a story to impact the world around him is beautiful.

I’m sure there is a heap more out there about why this guy is so incredible and authentic but for now, I’ll just leave you with this…
