What Makes Our Mother’s So Special? 4 Life Learnings —
People will never forget, how you made them feel

If you have lived with your parents in any phase of your life, what’s the first thing you crave when you reach home?
“Mom, where are you? ” was the phrase as soon as I reached home.
With the basic needs for human survival, a mother’s love is a necessity we can never afford to lose.
A mother is not only a member of a family but the whole family. She is the glue that binds small pieces to make a big running wheel.
There’s a saying in India that, God cannot be everywhere at the same time to look after everyone so he crafted his own soul in human form which we call “ Mother".
She is the essence of God
It’s so sad that we always undermine the value of our parents and especially of our mom’s who sacrifices all of her wants and demands just to grant us the life she never had.
I am utterly influenced by my mother. She has the traits which are required to be a better person and achieve success in life. These traits do not genetically get transferred but need to be learned and I have spent the entire lockdown learning it from my mother.
It definitely made me a better and attractive person
1. Mother’s are Selfless
God has made their hearts too big to exhibit love and empathy. When we step out of our homes to achieve our dreams and work towards our passion, we are introduced to the REAL world and how selfish people are. They talk to you, make you feel good, fill your stomach just for their own benefit.
Nothings free here. Everything has a value and it’s often expensive.
These people have a heart of stone which never beats for someone else.
The only person you will miss the most during these times is your mother. She takes your proper care, ensures you eat food on time, eats nutritional food, stands beside you in both physical and mental pains.
Yes, she is the one who scolds you the most, but it’s always in your favor. She never wants anything bad for you. Has a heart of gold, which is invaluable.
For all this, what do mothers expect — Money? Car? Smartphones? Homes?
NOTHING.
They just want your love. Be humble to them. Respect them. That’s all. A person’s character can be easily identified with how much respect he treats his/her parents with.
2. They keep thinking what’s good for you
As soon as you step outside your home, everything intensifies. Competition, jobs, opportunities, and people’s intentions. Some people out there act as your best friends, your only guiders to success, your gurus but their intentions are evil.
They will take you to the edge of the cliff, where you have no chance but to jump from it.
Half of the world is filled with these people. But, your mom’s are exceptional. She can genuinely tell you the company you chill out with is for your betterment or downfall.
We always complain that our mothers scold us a lot and keep asking for us even after we have grown up. She is your creator and for her, you will always remain a child.
As writers create stories, developers create apps, engineers manufacturers — our work is our life. We love it, more than we love ourselves.
Never doubt your mother’s thoughts and actions. The way she do things might be wrong but the intentions behind it are always pure.
3. Sacrifice their lives, to build yours
She is not a monk but has sacrificed her life a lot. We all have wishes, needs, demands in our lives and if we don’t get them, we feel bad. But on the other side, we have our mothers, who refused every single luxury, needs to be offered to them, so that she can grant those to her sons and daughters.
We can never see in her face, the pain of sacrifice.
She easily covers it with her beautiful and mesmerizing smile. I do not come from any fancy family with huge wealth, we are a middle-class family with some savings, and that also get succumbed to the lockdown. My father’s job is snatched away. Both are getting old, still spending each penny for our well being and education.
She is my ultimate motivation to climb every hurdle in life and achieve my dreams.
There’s no replacement for Moms. The impact she makes in our lives is remarkable.
4. Supporting you in every action
I remember I told my father that I don’t want to pursue CA ( Chartered Accountant) and he smashed me with his rough and hurting words. I got disappointed. My mother supported me in those times and encouraged me to follow my passion for writing and I am here today writing my heart out.
It doesn’t matter if anyone supports you or stand by your side during tough times, if your mother is with you, everything is possible.
You may have 1000 enemies against you wishing your bad but your mother is enough to demolish their intentions and make you believe in yourself.
She is your forever supporter, but don’t confuse yourself with my words. She will act against you if you pursue the wrong things in life. She is not a blind supporter of you.
The best you can get
Your takeaway
Everyone can be successful but only a few have the traits to become a better person. You can’t become one overnight. It takes time and hard work.
I personally would love to talk to a humble, lovable, down to earth person who ain’t successful rather than a successful person with arrogance emitting from his character.
4 Life-changing lessons to learn from your admiring mother —
- Be selfless — If you want to leave an unforgettable path behind you, start helping others with no personal benefit. GIVE MORE THAN YOU TAKE. God will shower upon you his ultimate love if you start being selfless.
- Think good of everyone — It doesn’t cost you a single penny to have a good heart. You reap what you sow. Do good to everyone and so will happen with you.
- Learn to sacrifice — We often think why should we sacrifice that is ours. The truth is nothing is ours. So we should not feel sad, frustrated when we sacrifice things for the welfare of others. Have faith in God.
- Don’t shy to show your support — You never know what a person is going through, what’s going around their mind. Be open-minded. Learn to accept everyone’s perspective. Show your support. Everyone needs a little bit.
