What Makes Me Unique

Oh, this is hard to write!

I find it so difficult to dissect myself.

But here goes.

What makes me unique?

Hmmm…

I am an empath. I sense emotions and feelings.

I dream things that come through.

I am often pole-axed by a sense of déjà vu.

Whenever I have bad dreams I always wake quoting scripture.

I am a sensitive soul, though I hide it well.

I feel others' joy and I feel their pain.

I always tell the truth, though I try to temper it with kindness.

I never set out to intentionally hurt others, though of course I have and I do.

I wonder about so many things and I then wonder if other people wonder about those things as well.

I feel like an outsider in my biological family. I cannot really relate to them with much depth, they don’t seem to understand me at all.

The people I thought knew me always surprise and shock me when they are convinced I am different than I know myself to be.

They do not understand my reasons or my motives at all.

I feel too many things deeply. I get very emotional and I don’t want to be perceived as weak.

I cry a lot, but I never let anyone see.

I love nature and I take lots of pictures but no one else around me seems to find the same magic that I do.

I point out the sky and plants and leaves and everyone thinks I am odd.

I watch my garden grow in minute details; I observe the plants several times a day.

I wish the world was kinder.

I wish we could all just live and let others do their thing.

I get upset and yell sometimes when I feel wronged but when I calm down I try to see other people’s points of view.

I give up my rights for peace often, (I’m trying to change that).

I am a loner because I like to be alone with my thoughts.

I love God and I see his love for us in the way I think and feel and am.

I see the way he caters for us on this planet and that his providence is unchanging.

I hate no one.

I am unique in that I am me, the way God created me to be. I am making my peace with all that I am and am becoming happy to just be.

I am unique because God designed me to be.

Takeaway

We are all unique.

This is evident in siblings from the same parents and backgrounds commonly show individual differences.

Each and every one of us has been blessed with our own talents.

There is really no reason to be jealous or unkind. Our gifts are meant for the collective good of ourselves and our world.

Be happy and content in your uniqueness for the world has never had nor will there ever be another quite like you.
