What Keeps Us Apart

A closed-off heart

It is easy to get caught up in our differences, but we are more alike than we realize. Wars have been fought over the smallest of disagreements. The world would be a much different place if we were able to look past what makes us different and see how we are similar instead.

The only true thing that keeps us apart is having a closed-off heart. It is possible to rekindle connections and heal broken relationships. You just have to be open to hearing the other person’s point of view and seeking understanding.

What keeps us apart? a splintered heart or is it skin or where you’ve been a different view coming unglued

Discerning friend a troubled end just feeling lost when you exhaust your narrow mind what keeps you blind

And never see what’s meant to be is to connect get over it what keeps us apart? a closed-off heart
