What Keeps Me Going
Life is happening to me at a fast pace. So what brings me back to myself?
I have to hear this. Not only hear but LISTEN. I must not refrain from telling myself: "I am worthy." Yes, as much as I am, so are you. We are all worthy of love, kindness, compassion, passion, life, desires, and much more.
Every day when I wake up, I ask myself this question: Am I evolving, or am I repeating myself? I bet so many of us are repeating. Just simply repeating without even noticing. Isn't it sad?
Evolving is a conscious mechanism that happens in the quietest moments of our lives. Repetition without paying attention is the absence of presence.
Solely, sitting with a warm cup of tea wrapped up in my hands, paying attention to the intangible feeling of the warmth of the ceramic mug caused by piping hot tea. I can count so many tasks just in a day where I realize I morph. Yet, there are moments when I find a deep sense of stillness captured in silence and then discover the very one standing in the middle of a road with cars honking, the concourse of masses appearing like a jigsaw puzzle.
Weirdly, in moments like these, I bow my head catch myself wearing a gratifying smile on my face.
Have I mentioned it now? Sorry to take your precious minutes here; let me disclose it for you.
It is the awareness, being present. The perception of feeling worthy realizes the importance of self-worth.
To simply observe is to discover.
I clean dishes after finishing meals, with no rush of just getting them out of my way. When I flow in cleaning dishes, I often whisper gratitude to the aluminum or iron skillet I utilize for cooking. Trust me, sending out vibrations of gratitude to THE ALL in ALL is miraculous. To send feelings of worthiness is to evolve. Yes. It is not weird to send and receive worthiness.
These itsy-bitsy moments keep me going reminding me that I am worthy in times of loneliness or when I feel unworthy of myself.
Question yourself: "What keeps me going?"
I bet, just like me, you will find yourself caught up in that moment and will smile ear to ear upon embracing the sentiment.
