What It’s Like To Be Single

A poem about relationships.

We all want to feel loved, And accepted for who we are, But when we ask someone out, We never get very far.

Sometimes it’s a lack of courage, Or we have no self-esteem, So when we face rejection, We wish it was a nasty dream.

It can make us lose our confidence, And feel like we’re not good enough, But that’s the reality of dating, Sometimes, it’s really tough.

But someday, you’ll find a person, Who becomes your lover and friend, They’ll be with you for the rest of your life, Until the very end.
