What it Feels Like to Inspire

I’ve spent my whole life being a guiding light to other people. All I’ve ever wanted to do was help people. Expecting nothing back from them. Without thinking, my karma would give me good in the world.

The best way to help people for me is to inspire them. To make them feel good about themselves. There's no measure of the value you get from someone being inspired by you. There’s no feeling you can quantify. When you inspire someone, you feel better yourself.

What does it feel like to inspire?

There’s this warm feeling in your heart when someone walks up to you and says you’ve inspired them. Or when someone praises you for what you’ve done to make them feel better. There’s no feeling like seeing someone accomplish something, and them praising you for motivating them.

How do I inspire people?

1. Writing My main source of inspiring people is my writing. It is my most frequented asset when it comes to motivating people. The way I can channel words without utilizing sounds for people to read and imagine how I’m saying it. The way I express myself through my lyrical exercise of poetry, or blog, or even essay pushes me to inspire people daily. Writing to inspire creates a mystique to my writing that gives room for the imagination. Which in my eyes allows people to create.
2. Speech I aim to become a motivational speaker someday. I believe I have a powerful voice that can move people. In fact, I’ve heard that from people consistently. I’ve always had the passion to make people feel good with my words. To motivate them. I’m planning on taking lessons in order to learn how to become a motivational speaker. To gain speaking engagements to help people feel good about themselves.
3. Example The way you carry yourself matters. The things you have around you matter. Your actions matter. I want to inspire people with my actions. By being consistent with my work. I believe that leading by example is important. I can’t inspire people if I’m not inspiring myself. If I’m not taking my advice and being consistent with what I want to do, then how can I inspire other people? Therefore, I try to set the example by being the example for inspiration in my work.
