What is Your Final Playlist?

What I want to hear when day is done

Before the stage of no return when I can still voice a feeling play for me from 1776, “Does anyone see what I see?”

When I’ve stepped across the threshold, can speak only with my eyes, play me Lyle Lovett and Leo Kottke last thing I want in my ears is the thrilling of a man and his guitar.

As I take my last rattling breath and temple vein flashes deep water blue Andy Williams crooning Moon River will do.

Finish me off with, “Amie, What you whanna do? I think I could stay with you for a while, maybe longer …fallin in and out love with you..” Then will I drift away into what God only knows

Certain to be greeted in the light of love you beckoning come dance once more to Vicki Sue Robinson’s ‘Turn the beat around’

Till then, Till then, I am as I always was, Yours dearheart yours.
