What is Tantric Eye Gazing?

How to develop true human connection

One of the first things you will find yourself doing if you go to a tantra retreat or workshop is what we call “tantric eye gazing”. You will sit down in front of a total stranger (or your partner) and just gaze into each other’s eyes. Sometimes it results in giggling and discomfort. Sometimes, you just fall into it and see something interesting in the eyes of the other.

We also will eye-gaze with ourselves in a mirror. Students will sometimes tell me that they had a profound experience full of realizations. Others will say that they couldn’t stop looking at their wrinkles and wondered why they had to do it.

Of course, this exercise has many benefits. Some are practical and some address the much deeper spirituality of tantra.

I hope you enjoy my video.
