What Is My Intention?
With regard to writing
The word “intention” is somewhat nebulous. It implies little more than what you have in mind to do or bring about.
It is my intention to do some writing.
What about purpose?
Why do I write. My purpose is to bring a bit of levity into the world.
How about design?
It is my design to write every day. The word design implies a carefully calculated plan.
Let’s try aim.
I aim to write a minimum of 500 words every day. The world aim is similar to design but implies a direction or narrower purpose.
Or maybe objective
My objective is to sit down and write daily. Objective implies something tangible and immediately attainable.
My goal
My goal is to write a novel. Something attained by prolonged effort and hardship.
Sometimes the best solution is simplicity. no need to explain or qualify.
I will write something every day.
