Joy is that butterfly That flits from flower to flower Sipping the nectar of life Spreading cheer wherever you are

Joy is the songbird That sings in the trees Gladdening the heart Filling the air with melodies Joy is the rainbow That spans the sky Paints the clouds with beauty It’s a beautiful life, aye!

Joy is the smile That lights your face, And makes your heart happy Wipes out sadness without a trace

Joy is the flower That blooms in your soul And fills life with fragrance That makes the world seem whole

Joy is that feeling that comes and goes When it’s here, it’s a warm embrace It fills your heart with strength And makes you feel you can win any race

Joy is in the simplest things A beautiful sunset, a child’s laughter The love of family and friends In helping others, the path to happily ever after

Joy is a gift To cherish when it comes our way A reminder that life is good To be grateful every day

Joy is a feeling from within A warmth that fills every pore A light that shines when the sun is out A happiness that makes you soar

Joy is something you can share With a smile to brighten someone’s heart A kind word that makes a difference, A choice that sets you apart

When we notice, we can find joy in practically everything we see, everyone we meet and interact with, and everything we do. Even our routine brings us joy.
