What Is Happening To Our Youth

Can we tell our children to follow our paths?

Imagine your phone and social media as your trusty sidekicks always there always buzzing. While they keep us looped in they also distract our attention from real-world adventures.

Instead of chatting face-to-face or trying new things we often find ourselves stuck to screens. These digital buddies are in a constant tug-of-war with the tangible world making it a bit tough to uncover our true passions.

The school adds its twist. It often puts a spotlight on tests and strict lessons. Exploring different subjects becomes like navigating a maze. The pressure to stick to a set path can limit the freedom to stumble upon what we genuinely love. The school sometimes forces us to fit into a mold rather than letting us follow our unique sparks.

Then there’s the double whammy of societal expectations and money woes. Everyone has a script expecting us to pick certain jobs. The worry about finances can take us toward what seems secure rather than what sets our hearts on fire. Society hands us a script and it can feel like we’re supposed to act it out. This pressure to blend in sometimes guides us away from what we’re naturally good at and truly love doing.

Now comparing this to the past our grandparents had it a tad simpler. They stumbled upon their interests by doing things and talking to people directly. Fast forward to today with all the screens and strict rules — it’s like trying to uncover our passions with a blindfold. The distractions school pressures and societal expectations create a bit of a maze making it trickier for us to figure out what truly lights up our hearts amidst all the noise.

Societal Pressures and Economic Challenges:

When we talk about societal pressures and economic challenges there’s this invisible force for us to follow a certain path. Society has this unwritten rulebook which can feel like we’re expected to read from it. The pressure to fit into these expectations is real.

Imagine everyone looking at you waiting for you to pick a job that fits the mold. It’s not just about what you want to do; it’s about what others think you should do. This societal spotlight can be intense getting you towards what seems ‘right’ instead of what genuinely excites you.

Now add money worries to the mix. It’s like there’s a constant financial cloud hanging over our heads. The need to pay bills and be ‘secure’ can steer us away from chasing our passions and choosing the safe road instead of the one that might be bumpy and lead to what we truly love.

It’s like there’s a script society hands us and it doesn’t always leave room for our unique stories. The combination of what people expect and the finances we walk on can divert us from our genuine passions making the journey more complicated.
