In this blog, I share some insights to assist those with unawakened partners.

I recently saw a video of a woman expressing her struggles with having a partner who is unawakened. As I scrolled through the comments, I realized many share her experience. A spiritual awakening is personal and often happens without warning. When a soul awakens depends on various factors like soul level, completed life lessons, and where we left off in previous lifetimes.

Experiencing an awakening is quite startling on its own, so potentially losing an intimate partner, close friend, or family can add stress and redirect our life experience. Essentially, an awakening is a huge wake-up call that impacts everyone in our circle.

How should I move forward?

The first step is to be honest with yourself and your partner. Be transparent about your feelings, desires, and life goals and expectations. Awakening is a life-altering experience — and once conscious, you can not be unconscious. If a meeting is necessary, it may be uncomfortable because the other party (or parties) may not comprehend your spontaneous life changes. These individuals may laugh at you or ask if you are having a mental health episode. Please don’t take offense to these types of responses. Remember, they have no idea where you’re coming from since they are still unconscious.

If someone approached you eight years ago and told you we are eternal souls borrowing a flesh suit for a human experience — how would you reply? To the conditioned mind, it does sound bizarre. Most humans will not accept this knowledge until they unlock higher awareness. They can access this awareness once they pass and learn from their life lessons. Therefore, go easy on them because they simply can not know what you are experiencing.

We should ask for direction from our Guides and follow our hearts. If our heart tells us to end a relationship, we should listen. Holding on to things or people not meant to stay hinders our spiritual growth, keeps us stuck in the past, and prolongs our journey. My Guides confirmed that many souls are on a reincarnation loop for two reasons — they refuse to let go of things that no longer serve them and have not learned from their life lessons.
