What If I Don’t Have Advice For You?
For Medium Readers
Will you be my reader if I tell you I don’t have the slightest idea who you are or what you are looking for? And if I tell you I don’t know how to add any value to your life? What if I haven’t got a clue because I am as lost as a ship adrift in the sea, And I struggle to be on top of things because I am behind with everything that I am supposed to be doing?
Will it be okay if I don’t know what you need or like, And I write without knowing why you would care about what I have to say? What if I don’t believe in growth or life hacks, but love the hero’s journey, And I have no expert tips or applicable solution to offer to you?
Will I lose you if I don’t publish every day because I don’t have time or energy to keep up, And I write when ideas come seemingly out of thin air? What if I have neither the motivation nor desire to coax the algorithm, And I write here to offset my boredom from working with numbers all day at my day job?
Will you forgive me if my posts offer you no actionable take-away in the end, And if I tell you I don’t yet understand what it means to write for you, my readers? What if I have nothing to sell to you that will be of any use to you, And that I write when I write without focusing on anything in particular?
If all I can share are my feelings and perspectives, will you still be my reader?
