What I Read This Week — The Highlights
For the week of October 22, 2023
Reading enriches our minds. It opens us to new worlds and new possibilities. It allows us to expand our thinking and entertain perspectives that never occurred to us before. It allows us to grow and develop our critical thinking.
Being a part of a community of readers and writers like the one here on Medium allows us to understand many different viewpoints that are different from our own. Everyone has a different life experience that can provide us with unique insights. Being able to share this can change our lives by changing the way we think about and engage with the world.
Thank you to all the lovely writers here who share your thoughts each week!
This week, I read 47 stories here on Medium.
The first story I want to highlight is by Rami Dhanoa, who talks about how our modern life can keep us from finding spiritual truth. There is a lot of distraction in our modern world, and it can keep us from truly contemplating our spiritual nature.
The second story I want to highlight is by Liberty Forrest, Author, and talks about removing money blocks from our mindset. This can be difficult when we have had a bad relationship with money throughout our lifetimes.
The third story I want to highlight is by Jessie Vee, and talks about how people are affording an expensive lifestyle even in a bad economy. We can leverage our finances in better ways when we understand that comparing ourselves to others isn’t helping us move forward.
I hope that these articles will be as helpful for you as they were for me, and will help you start thinking critically about the way you are living your day-to-day life.
Often, there are many things that we do out of habit without really thinking about them. Changing our thoughts and our behaviors can change our lives for the better.
Have a great week, my lovelies! Happy reading, and happy writing!
