What I Read this Week
SUNDAY: January 16, 2022

For anyone who hasn’t been following this week, I’ve been under the weather (to say the least), thanks to the latest variant of COVID, the Omicron virus.
Since I normally try to share my What I Read this Week feature on Sunday evenings, I decided not to miss it, even though I’m only just now feeling like I might be on the mend and have finally beaten this thing.
Even as I utter those words again for the second time today, I’m cautious, because I’m learning that you just can’t underestimate the illness associated with this virus. Just when you think you’re okay, you’re not.
So before I run out of strength, and the desire to finish this story, allow me to share the few titles I read this past week, before COVID decided to rear its’ ugly head.
I actually got a chance to include 15 stories in my list of completed reading for the week, but this time, I won’t go into what the stories are about. But hopefully, that won’t prevent you from taking a moment to check out these writers and their stories.
Here are the writers, their stories, and the publications you can find them in (when applicable):
Lisa Martens, in “You seem fine.”
- How to Write SEO-Friendly Content Without Losing Your Voice and Style
- 11 Easy Hacks to Eliminate Distractions While Writing
Arthur Keith, in The Riff
Love’Nia Renee, in Black Like Me
Michael Burg, MD (AKA Medium Michael Burg)
- There Once Was a Cat That Got Kicked (in The Brain is a Noodle)
- I’m Moving to Spain and I Want Your Advice
Judy Millar, in Hope * Healing * Humour
Burk, in The Shortform
DeeDee, in New Writers Welcome
Don’t forget, if you’d like to save this list of titles and browse it at your leisure, it’s easy to do. Just make sure to save this link for:
