What I Have Learned After 300 Posts On Medium

Wow 300 articles!

It seems crazy to me I have written that much since I began this journey in late March.

I don't play!

I am happy to be here to celebrate yet another amazing milestone on my journey here at medium.

What a way to finish off the month of June!

So much has changed on my medium journey through the course of my 300 posted articles. I have learned so much. I have gained so much.

This has really been such a spiritual journey for me!

Since this is meant to come from a spiritual place I am coming from I won't be discussing earnings, stats, or anything of that nature.

This is far more beautiful than materialistic things.

An Amazing Journey

Yes, this has been one of the most like changing journies I have ever been on.

I wouldn't trade this experience for anything in the world.

I have learned so much about myself, as a writer but more importantly as a person.

Devoted followers

I found that followers are important but not for the reasons you would think.

I organically got most of my followers and one thing I learned about these people is that they are so precious. These are people who think enough of us to want to read and interact with us.

I don't understand people who would want to take that for granted.

They don't have to follow us, they chose to and that is an incredible honor. It is not just some notch of accomplishment. I am so moved that everyone who follows me found what a small-town West Virginia girl had to say.

Inspired

I find myself inspired by many of the writers on this platform. Their beauty shines behind their work. I share about as many of your articles on my social media as I do of my own because I find so much beauty and inspiration in your words.

I have had a few people use the words Inspired when it came to some of my articles. I don't think you know what that means to me. I am moved to tears every time someone says that in my comments.

Writing Tribe

After a few months of being here, I have found some people on this platform I deeply care about. I notice their absence. I worry about them. They have made footprints in my life. I have only been blessed on this platform so far.

I have met some of the kindest most genuine people I could ever have had the privilege of knowing.

They say writing is a lonely endeavor but it's really not anymore.

Medium is my writing tribe.

It is impossible to feel lonely here.

From someone who suffers from very serious depression, many of you have helped me just by being you.

It restored my faith in humanity.

Every single one of you I have had the honor of interacting with has made such a positive impact.

Sorry, I sound like a greeting card.

I am that sappy emotional person, it is my nature! Well, that and a hormone imbalance but I mean what I say.

I wanted to briefly shout out to a few of the people who have deeply impacted my life since meeting them here on medium

Adrienne Beaumont 🇦🇺 you are always present on nearly every single one of my articles and you always offer constructive criticism. I love your honesty and insights. You are such an intriguing and inspiring person and a beautiful writer whether you know it or not!

Nancy Blackman you have to be one of the warmest kindest people I have ever had the pleasure of meeting. I love getting your editor's notes because you always have something so kind to say. some of your little notes have turned my whole day around. so thank you for taking time out of your day to always add something special to your editor's notes.

Katie Michaelson You knew I was going to tag you. You are that breath of fresh air in everyone’s life! You are such a beautiful person. I can see why so many people are drawn to you and The Daily Cuppa. Thank you for allowing me to be a part of that. It is been such an amazing honor to be able to write for you! I wish I could go on and on. So many inspiring beautiful people here on medium.

Home Sweet Home-Publications

I remember not all that far back I couldn't fathom being accepted into any publication let alone having certain publications that I consider a home for my articles.

I now Have a few publications that I feel particularly loyal to and honored to write for on a regular basis.

I feel at home there.

Winston — Coffee Times… I can't say enough about this publication. I love writing here. They take time to recognize their writers and I try to write something for them every day. I also love coffee so well….

ILLUMINATION … Another amazing publication I love writing for them on an everyday basis or one of the sister publications. They have given me some great feedback from time to time. I am so honored to write for them

Nancy Blackman -Refresh the soul… I have been writing here a bit more frequently. I love the message of this publication, It is so very inspiring. It really has me thinking..This is why I don't publish there as frequently as I would like. . I wonder if some of what I would have to say could serve such a beautiful, inspiring publication justice.

Katie Michaelson- The Daily Cuppa. I have so much fun here. I know they must think I am so off the wall there sometimes. lol. even I go back on some of the articles I write there and be like” geshe, Stacey they must think you are off your rocker.” I love it… I get to be myself… quirky and kinda strange

Thank you to all of you here on Medium. you have made this such a wonderful place to be. I don’t mass tag people anymore out of what I believe as writer’s etiquette and to keep from coming off as clickbait or spam but know that you all are deeply appreciated!

I Look forward to my continued journey on this amazing platform where magic happens every day!
