What Happens When You Learn the Best Way to Manifest

I have mentioned in a few of my other articles how now is the time to start creating, or start thinking about creating what we would like our NEW normal to be once our lives resume.
Some of us are still in the state of pause with SIP. And those states where it’s been lifted, I feel might be in kind of a limbo, figuring out how to move forward.
Where are you in relation to where you want to be?
If you’re someone like me, who is compelled to move forward, to not return fully to the way life was, then you are either in an action state or planning stage.
For me, I’m in planning — meaning I will go back to my life prior to the virus, but I am taking steps to not stay there.
What are you looking to change? I bring this up as many will hear this question and list all the things they no longer want. Are you someone who might say:
I don’t want to be in pain (physical or even mental).
I don’t want to go back to my job.
I don’t want these extra 25 lbs.
When we look to make changes, we base it on what we no longer want. And that makes sense, as if we wanted it, we would not look to change it, right?
What if I told you to make a list of all the things you don’t want, and then change the way you look at it — rephrase it?
We live in a world that seems to be negative based, so it comes naturally for many of us (me included) to focus or put our attention on what we don’t want.
What happens though is we attract what we think about. Our thoughts and words have power. There’s so much to the art of manifesting…
…this article is just to get you started by reframing your thoughts. Reframing is helpful in problem solving, decision making, learning — and manifesting.
So instead of focusing on what you don’t want — focus on what you do want.
What are you looking to change? What do you want?
Listen to yourself.
Are you thinking in the terms of what you no longer want, as listed above?
What do you want? I’m not asking you what you don’t want!
See the difference?
I don’t want to be in pain. becomes I want to move freely with ease.
I don’t want to go back to my job. becomes I want a job that is fulfilling.
I don’t want these extra 25 lbs. becomes I want to weigh _____.
When we look to manifest, we need to be careful where we put our attention. Otherwise we just manifest more of what we don’t want. If your focus is on pain, your current job, those extra 25lbs — that’s what the focus stays on.
That’s one of the reasons why people will say the Law of Attraction doesn’t work. Actually, it’s always working — so work it to get the results are are looking for.
As we move forward, each day brings us closer to SIP being lifted (in those states still locked down). How are you planning to return to your life?
Some of us may consider major changes, some may consider minor changes. Either way put your attention on what you do want to be different, instead of what you don’t want any longer…

Notice the photo I used — the man in front, see his expression, his energy. Pretend he’s thinking about what he wants. Now look at the woman behind with her expression and her energy. Pretend she’s thinking about what she doesn’t want. See the difference?! He looks hopeful, she looks hopeless.
Focus on what you want — not what you don’t want.
Become aware…mindful…
…Focus on the positive, not the negative.
The more you pay attention to what you put your focus on, the more you will learn about yourself. Things you didn’t even realize.
Another example that’s quite common, “I don’t want to forget____.” instead say “I want to remember_____.”
As I stated, there is more to the art of manifestation. This is one of the first steps, and it’s important one.
