What Happened After I Prayed To Turn Water Into Wine
Are miracles, signs and wonders for real?
A few years ago, my life was chaotic. My job was particularly stressful, repetitive, and unrewarding. My free time was spent running around and caring for my aging parents, who required help with medical appointments and other things.
When my dad died, I was still busy, taking time to help care for my aging mom. These days, when I can, I spend time in spiritual contemplation, which gives me peace of mind and hope. I pray the rosary daily, read Christian books, and follow and listen to preachers on television and online.
For more than twenty years, I have attended revival Christian conferences online and in person. During one healing service at a mostly African congregation, I watched in awe as a woman writhed on the floor after her spiritual healing of supposed dark forces in her. I have also travelled to places that show divine forces at work. A few years ago, a local paper reported that a family’s wall was weeping holy oil. I rushed to visit the home and uploaded the “miracle” on Youtube. Somehow, it gave me great comfort knowing that there is a higher power to make my life better.
On another occasion, I joined a Korean church after seeing a sign promoting a Signs and Wonders healing service. Over time, I participated as a church singer, a bookkeeper and was selected to be a deaconess at this small church, a satellite of a major church in South Korea.
What Exactly Are Signs And Wonders?
This term refers to people experiencing miraculous events, such as losing blindness, due to the supernatural manifestation of the Holy Spirit. Many charismatic and Pentecostal groups also use the phrase “Signs and Wonders” to refer to miraculous healings and prophetic proclamations.
Do You Believe In Miracles?
According to a Pew Forum on Religion survey, over 80 percent of Americans believe in miracles.
One would think that when Jesus was alive and well, his miracles would have made him an instant celebrity. However, as the Bible records, despite his many miracles, Jesus was harassed by locals, Romans, and Pharisees and eventually crucified.
I do not know what they were thinking, and perhaps it’s fair to say that Jesus posed a threat to the authoritarian regime during Roman times.
At my local church, which I attend semi-regularly, we mostly focus on the teachings and verses of the Bible. There is no discussion of upcoming “Signs and Wonders” events, which I have missed since my previous church closed due to a lack of parishioners.
But thanks to the Internet, I am never far from hearing stories about miraculous healings. I love to follow and watch the video testimonials of ordinary people who heal people of various sicknesses on the streets and in the marketplace. Some of the channels I follow include:
Todd White Pete Carbrera, Jr. Tom Loud and many others
An Ongoing Interest In Seeing Miracles
So you see, over the years, I have had an ongoing interest in this business of miracles. I am excited to see the Holy Spirit in action.
One year, I was fascinated by a Korean preacher, Emiko Soon, who performed a water-into-wine miracle. The biblical story tells us that Mary asked Jesus to help her find wine for a Wedding party. Incredibly, as one of his first miracles, he transformed plain water into this much-needed beverage for the guests.
Emiko prayed intensely, and before the video ended, the water dramatically changed colour. A few years ago, there were few videos of preachers performing this kind of miracle. Today, I found several videos about ministers changing ordinary water into wine.
I, too, wanted to experience a miracle on Oct 13, 2019.
I repeatedly watched the YouTube video until I understood what I needed to say in prayer and feel emotionally to change the water. Finally, I turned off the video and concentrated on praying for my water-to-wine miracle.
My Miracle Hour
I prayed for less than one hour, quoting Bible verses and asking Him to make the impossible possible.
After 45 minutes of intense praying and worship, my water bottles changed colour. I could see the clearness disappear and transform into a deeper colour. This supernatural miracle that unfolded before my eyes left me tearful, speechless and emotionally overcome.

The photos I took show the changes in the composition of the water. The water is much clearer in the first photo, and the subsequent photos show the colour of the bottled water, which changes after prayers are made.
No, I didn’t taste the water because I was shocked at what had happened. I put away the water bottles and later discovered that my husband had cleaned up, and somehow, my bottles disappeared.
Why now? Why am I finally revealing this miracle?
I have been struggling to answer this question for a few years. It is good for me to reflect on this supernatural experience before writing about it. I also wanted to take another look at the photos to satisfy my curiosity about whether a change had occurred in the water composition.
It seems appropriate to write this as a testimony to celebrate miracles, the wonders of the supernatural, and this year’s Easter celebration, which marks the death and resurrection of the Savior.
I am not here to sway you towards Christianity. This is not my role. This article allows me to write about my experience of witnessing a miracle. Many may be skeptical, but everyone is free to have their own opinions.
I know that some people may ask, if God is real, why does he allow bad things like cancer to happen? I can’t answer that because this question could be answered in many ways. If people are curious, there are some books out there that answer this very question. I recommend the bestseller book When Bad Things Happen To Good People. (not an affiliate link)
I know this is one event I will remember forever. Whenever I feel isolated and overwhelmed, I return to that day to remember that I am never alone with my worries and stresses. I have someone to call upon in prayer if I ever need help. I feel grateful that I was given the grace to receive the miracle of seeing the water change supernaturally.
Since that day in 2019, I have continued to read about miracles, signs, and wonders. I also read about the lives of the saints, and when possible, I travel to places that hold biblical significance. While in Rome, I visited a church that purportedly held baby Jesus’ crib.
All I know is that one doesn’t need to travel far to experience something amazing. I believe that everyone can experience something wonderful. I am an ordinary person with no extraordinary talent for hearing God’s voice. Because God loves everyone equally, it seems logical for everyone to receive his or her miracle. I believe the only prerequisite is faith.
