What Fall Means to Me
DEP Fall Contest

Brace yourself, Rick is feeling frisky!
Let’s talk about Fall, the season that’s basically life’s halftime show. This is the universe saying, “Hey, you’ve been working hard; now take a breather and soak in all the magic!” The trees are throwing confetti of red, orange, and gold leaves. It’s nature’s parade, and we’re all invited!
You know how there’s a harvest? That’s the Earth’s way of saying, “Hey, here are some treats for your hard work, buddy!” It’s a time to gather, share some love, and brace ourselves for winter like a team getting ready for the fourth quarter. And let’s not forget, it’s a runway leading up to the grand finale — holidays and the New Year! So, it’s like a pre-party before the big bash.
If you’re an artistic soul like me, are you in for a treat? Imagine the world as your canvas, but it’s already half-painted with stunning shades of autumn. The fog, the softer sunlight — it’s like nature’s filter! How could you not want to write a poem or snap a photo with that backdrop? It’s practically begging to be a muse!
On the spiritual side — man, Fall is like a giant yoga retreat. The world starts to quiet down, reminding us that change is the only constant. Everything’s taking a nap to wake up all refreshed, so why not take this time to ponder the big questions? If I’m this creative now, imagine the awesomeness I can unleash in the coming year!
Now, if you’re an outdoor type, Fall’s your VIP pass to the world’s most fabulous concert, starring Mother Nature. The air’s cooler, especially out here in the desert, so now we can actually step outside without melting — score! Whether hiking or biking, you can get out there and be the action hero of your adventure movie, all while taking in the colors and vibes only Fall can bring. Think of it as nature’s treadmill but with way better views.
So, there you have it! Fall is not just a season; it’s a harvest and a state of mind. It’s a creative playground, a spiritual retreat, and an outdoor adventure park all rolled into one. It’s like life’s giving us a high-five, saying, “Great job so far. Now take a moment to enjoy the ride!” Let’s embrace, live, and, most importantly, love it!
I want to say thank you to DR Rawson — The Possibilist, for making the fall contest possible.
