What Faith is not: Faith is not just saying, ‘I TAKE AUTHORITY!’
You cannot operate at the level you have not proven in Faith
1. ALL AUTHORITY IS GIVEN TO OUR LORD JESUS CHRIST… Authority grows with Faith… You cannot operate at the level you have not proven in Faith…
MATT 28:18 says… ‘All authority is given to Me (JESUS CHRIST), in heaven and on earth’!… and by faith, we have this authority… we have authority to Be, we have authority to Have, we have authority to Do
However, we have to grow into this level of authority to become our reality
What Faith is not… Faith is not just declaring ‘‘I TAKE AUTHORITY’…
2. WHERE IS YOUR LEVEL OF SPIRITUAL AUTHORITY … You can easily know where you are, by your life experiences… how much answers you have in prayers, how easy demons bow to you, how much Blessings you enjoy, how much deliverances you experience, and so on…
3. SOME BIBLICAL EXAMPLES OF TAKING AUTHORITY WITHOUT FAITH… I. The disciples could not heal the boy that was with deaf and dumb spirit. (Mark 9:18–29) on their own, even though some times earlier, while operating under the influence of the Authority of Christ during some outreaches (Luke 9:1, Luke 10:17)… many demons bow to them… However, this time, the demons did not obey them, because they were trying it out on their own authority! When they asked why, Our Lord Jesus Christ said to them, this kind requires some deeper preparations… (Mark 9:28–29).
II. Some demons fought and disgraced seven sons of Sceva, (a high priest), who were trying to cast them out … (Acts 19:11–16)… because they had no faith in the Authority they were using…
Many christians and ministers today, try to copy other men of GOD as they take authority, and they get burnt… because they were operating at an authority beyond their level of faith…
4. HOW DO WE BUILD OUR SPIRITUAL AUTHORITY… Your authority grows with your level of faith… - Go for the Word of GOD.. - Believe and agree with the Word.. - Make the Word of GOD, your final authority.. - Insist on the Word of GOD, until the Word prevails in all circumstances.. - Practice this in little things like headache, provisions, and grow from there..
AUTHORITY GROWS WITH FAITH… YOU CANNOT OPERATE AT THE LEVEL YOU HAVE NOT PROVEN IN FAITH…
5. THE FIGHT OF FAITH… A MUST FOR EVERYONE… The Fight of Faith… A must for every believer…
What Faith is not….
1. Faith is not… just praying… There are different kinds and different levels of Prayers
2. Faith is not… Just speaking or quoting the Bible… Faith is speaking the Word of Life hidden inside the Bible…
3. Faith is not… Only unto GOD… You can have Faith in many other things… Faith is neutral. It takes on your highest knowledge bid.
4. Faith is not… On your timing… GOD decides when, however, man initiates it..,
5. Faith is not… In your crying or weeping in prayers… operate in faith, even if you must cry…
6. Faith is not … Our first language… We all are exposed to the system of this world, before knowing Jesus Christ, hence must unlearn our former belief systems… to embrace faith in GOD.
7. Faith is not… Hope… A lot of UNBELIEFS and doubts hide and disguise as Hope. Faith is NOW, Hope is in Future..
8. Faith is not… Just declaring ‘I TAKE AUTHORITY’… Spiritual Authority grows with your level of faith in Christ.
