Writing Poetry: A Guide
What Does It Mean To Write A Poem?
You Have The Courage To Do It Anyway

What exactly does it mean to compose a poem?
Will you get points for how good your writing is? Is there a word limit? Why doesn’t my poem rhyme like in the movies? These are all excellent questions! But, to answer them, we must first understand a poem’s meaning. Yes! Poems are actually elementary in their structure.
Writing Poetry: A Guide
here are the 4 rules:
- The poem must have a concise, thought-provoking meaning and be informed about what makes a good poem!
- The poem must / must not rhyme and/or alliterate every other line parsimoniously! (Sub-Rule: No more than 3 lines of poetic license!)
- Each line must have at least the same or more syllables than the previous one to emphasize the beginning of each new line.
- The poem must be structured in a specific way to make it easier to understand and memorize and more accessible for others to read.
Some have not pursued the path. They say they can’t I’m not like them I have the strength to do it all.
I have the courage to face all of life’s obstacles, and I have no regrets. I have the strength to do it all. I believe that I am enough. No, we are not alone. The Power of Poetry is our strength.
It is revealing, and it brings us hope. We are not alone Never say that you can’t Strength is a gift. It is a gift of hope.
Now that we’ve gotten that out of the way let’s talk about what it means to be brave. I remember when I was younger, my mom told me that I had to be brave. I didn’t know what she meant. But then she explained it to me. She said being brave was being scared to do something but still doing it anyway. She told me to be brave and jump off the diving board. I was scared. It was high up there! But I did it. And I was proud of myself. I learned a lot about myself that day. I learned that it’s okay to be scared. It’s okay to be nervous. It’s okay to feel like you can’t do something. But it’s not okay to let those feelings stop you from trying. That’s what bravery is. It dares to do something that scares you. It dares to take a risk. It dares to try something new. It dares to do something that you don’t think you can do. But it’s also about having the courage to be scared. It’s about having the courage to feel the fear and do it anyway.
What does it mean to be brave? Where do we go from here when there’s no choice but to be brave? Everyone knows the answer. But when they don’t, we’re still all together there.
This poem is a call to action, a reminder of what keeps us going. Like the birds that soar through the sky, we can stay airborne no matter how hard it gets, always soaring high above the clouds to look down on Earth. We can learn from our mistakes and soar through life, always thinking about how much we have already achieved and how far we have to go. Remember, we have to get airborne no matter how hard it gets. We can’t just be quiet! We must make a difference for the better for things to get better! And that’s what it means to be brave.
