What Do You Write for a Rat in a Hat?

This rat in his hat deserves to be seen, but what does one write to show off his sheen?

His fur is all silky, his ears are all pink. He deserves instant fame and a like, don’t you think?

I wish I was better, I wish I had words, but my poetry skillset is fit for the birds.

If he never got chosen, I’d feel sad and grim. His owner-friend looks like his nails need a trim.

His nose, how adorable! His face, oh so sweet! But the hat, oh his hat was what made him complete.
