What Do You Think of Medium?

How was your experience so far been?

The day I joined Medium changed my life.

I discovered a platform where I could write about anything my heart desired and be paid for it. How cool is that?

Since joining in February 2021, Medium has been quite the journey for me. And the stats prove it. In six months I have:

  • 500+ fans a month
  • 3,000+ a month
  • And earned over $100.

Not too bad for a novice writer.

But as I think back to my time on Medium and my future on the platform, I also think about you —

My fellow writers.

How Are You Doing On Medium?

The real questions are these:

  • Is Medium everything you hoped it would? Or no?
  • Are you writing everything you want?
  • Are you being paid well?
  • What are you learning as a writer?
  • Are you growing as a writer?

I think if we discuss about our time on Medium, it will not only make us all better writers but bring us all together I’m the process. I’m down for that if you are.

We are all here for our own reasons. Why not share them with your fellow writers?

I have before and will continue to do so.

Medium Is About the Journey

Like anything in life, Medium is a marathon, not a sprint. In doing so, it’s filled with plenty of ups and downs.

It certainly has happened for me.

  • There are days no one reads my articles.
  • There are days I earn barely any money.
  • There are days I need to rest from writing.

Nevertheless, Medium is a journey. And it’s a journey we all should continue on together.

Closing Thoughts

If you’re new to Medium or have been writing for a while, I would love to hear from you about your experiences, what you’ve learned, etc.

What better way to make writing better than to meet the writers themselves.

Feel free to comment below and tell me about yourself and anything you would like. And in the meantime, I can’t wait to read your next article too.

Happy writing!
