What Do You Think About Pen Names?
Should I choose one?

I am writing a series of three books that are non-fiction and not what I would have originally chosen to write had I not been seeking a niche market. Supposedly, this is a practically guaranteed area to earn some money on Kindle Publishing. Self-help for young people looking for work. I don’t mind letting the cat out of the bag. Five months ago, the niche tested positive for lucrativity so it should still be a suitable area to write about.
My question to you is should I choose a pen name for this series of books? I’m 67 years old now and am looking for something to do for the next 20 to 25 years.
After that, all bets are off.
What really floats my boat is to publish books about how to channel. There are so many avenues of interest there that I might never run out of ideas. Actually, it is one of the things I like to write about here at Medium. You can get into spirituality, prayer, God, your higher self, dreams, visions, meditations, talking to celebrities — dead ones, animals, and once a plastic chair which I will never do again.
Also, I like to channel and have created a list I call The Last Word with the articles I write at Medium where my guide, Seth, or other folk in spirit step in to make a contribution. Anyway, there is lots to talk about with psychic and spiritual stuff, and anybody can do it. I’ve even had my guide helping me in the office, which was always cool. “Add that up again!” he would say. Sure enough, I’d made a mistake.
What I’d also like to do is to write books of fiction using characters who come to me in Spirit. I’m not sure anybody has done that, though I did start a novel set in the 1880s in South Dakota, where the lead character (with six-pack abs) started talking to me. His name is Daniel. He says hi.
So, am I three people, or am I one? As I think about it more, I don’t think I have enough time left to be three people or one person with three names. But I would be interested in your thoughts on the matter.
I have a couple of beloved writers who have pen names. For instance, Jayne Ann Krentz, who also writes as Amanda Quick, and Jayne Castle. Also, there is Nora Roberts, who also writes as J.D. Robb. But they both have a huge body of work, and it does not look like they are grinding to a halt anytime soon.
Wait a minute. Something just occurred to me. I could do a couple of past life regressions and come up with some names from previous lifetimes. Now, that sounds interesting. That sounds really interesting.
Thanks for any suggestions you have, and thanks for reading.
