- The longest time that can pass without a Friday 13th is fourteen months. There is only one Friday the 13th of this year, WHICH IS TODAY.
- The last Friday the 13th was January 13, 2023, and today October 13.
- In 2024 — Friday, September 13 and December 13.
- In 2025, it will be Friday, June 13.
- It is thought that former American President D. Franklin Roosevelt refused to travel on the 13th day of any month, and would never have 13 guests for dinner, while Napoleon Bonaparte also feared the number 13.
- Some hospitals do not have room No. 13, while skyscrapers often skip the 13th floor, and airports avoid having gate 13. Research by zoopla.co.uk (UK top estate agent) found No 13 houses cost £3,929 less on average than any other properties, while a quarter of British Streets are built without a No 13.
- There are two words for a fear of Friday the 13th. The original is friggatriskaidekaphobia, a nurse called Frigga and ‘’ kaidekaphobia ‘’ meaning fear of the number 13. In the early 20th century, another word paraskevidekatriaphobia was coined. It is an amalgamation of Greek words for Friday and thirteen, plus phobia.
