What Do You Get To Do Today?

At the time of this story’s publishing, it is 6 am Central Standard Time on a Monday morning.
Monday mornings are dreaded by so many, especially those who work a 9 to 5 or attend school.
If we change our attitude toward Mondays, or any day, for that matter, the days could take on a whole new meaning.
Instead of thinking about the things “I have to do today,” we could think of them as “the things I get to do today.” Some examples are below.
Today, I get to show kindness and grace to my family and coworkers.
Today, I get to say a kind word to the cashier at the grocery store.
Today, I get to send a card to someone who is going through a challenging time.
Today, I get to learn something new.
Today, I get to watch beautiful snowflakes fall.
Today, I get to watch a fantastic sunrise or sunset.
This list could change depending on our situation or where we are in the world.
Beloved reader, what do you get to do today?
Thanks for reading! I truly appreciate each and every one of my readers!
