It was a random thought, which turn out to be a good idea and an inquiry!

People behind making us more productive and efficient are smart people like the Apps they design and build, here I m trying to decode the thoughts and ideology behind our everyday Apps like a To-do, Calendar, Email and Notes app etc.

Let us start with my favorite:

Notes:

I use Craft and Mem.ai — presently: it taught me,

  • Every idea counts.
  • Speed is everything when it comes to jotting down your thoughts.
  • Your to-dos and notes can live together.
  • Focus is essential in note-taking.
  • Every one of us can build — PKM.
  • World of texts can be beautiful too.
  • Sharing your work is an essential requirement of the time.

Calendar

I use Fantastical: it taught me,

  • Your days can be beautiful.
  • You are as good as the hours and days you spend.
  • You have limited time, plan well.
  • Time is money and spends wisely.

Task Manager

I use Things 3: it taught me;

  • Not everything needs to be done today.
  • You can always plan for your goals BIG or small.
  • Every area of your life is equally important.
  • Evening is the special time of your day.
  • Simplicity can be a joyful experience.
  • Break down your goals and enjoy the progress — step by step.

Emails

I use Outlook: it taught me,

  • Be focused.
  • Communication is the key in today’s time and world.
  • You need not to reply immediately.

These are the Apps used everyday and my minutes, hours and days are spent inside these beautifully crafted Apps. I love every minute of it!
