The media and science fiction are to be blamed for this one. They portray AI as ‘Thinking Machines’. But the technology as of now is very narrow and can only be used for undertaking mundane tasks.
We cannot or should not treat them as a person, but rather as ‘Vending Machines’.
Trump:
Most of Trump’s tweets do not make any sense, like the one below
Despite the constant negative press covfefe
I hate Grammarly! Keep on alerting me that there is no word as ‘covfefe’. Did it again, just now!
Anyways, the point is, what kind of thinking man will post such a tweet? I think I have made my point.

Research has uncovered large racial and gender bias by Artificial Intelligence systems of large corporations like IBM, Microsoft and Amazon. The AI system performed better at identifying ‘male’ faces than female faces. Also, the error rates were alarmingly high for identifying dark-skinned women!
Not to forget the Google AI image-recognition algorithm that auto-tagged pictures of black people as “gorillas”.
Trump:
They’re bringing drugs. They’re bringing crime. They’re rapists. And some, I assume, are good people.
The above was a part of Trumps’ speech during the election campaign, he was referring to the Mexicans.

Still, he won the election. Makes me think, AI and the people who voted for him have a lot in common too!

Have you ever seen an AI Robot drinking water? My best guess is they can’t, so they don’t even try. It is embarrassing to spill water all over your body while you are holding a press conference.
