What Can Having Gratitude Bring You

Thanking others for being part of your successes

Gratitude means thanks and appreciation. … Gratitude, which rhymes with “attitude,” comes from the Latin word gratus, which means “thankful, pleasing.” When you feel gratitude, you’re pleased by what someone did for you and also pleased by the results. Unlike indebtedness, you’re not anxious about having to pay it back. Vocabulary.com

As we express our gratitude, we must never forget that the highest appreciation is not to utter words but to live by them. John F. Kennedy

The most important part of being grateful is to appreciate who you have become. What people have been part of that journey that you accept as your own.

My mother was a great part of my journey, and though she died many years ago, she is continually present in my soul. Her spirit has given me the strength to believe.

Yes, Body, Mind and Spiritual balance have been present inside me ever since I forgave myself for being so distraught, for so long, after her departure.

The correct prayer is therefore never a prayer of supplication, but a prayer of gratitude. When you thank God in advance for that which you choose to experience in your reality, you in effect, acknowledge that it is there…in effect. Thankfulness is thus the most powerful statement to God — an affirmation that even before you ask, I have answered. Therefore never supplicate… Appreciate.

Neale Donald Walsch

Understanding that I have free will was the greatest revelation that I ever could have discovered. Having all the power in my hands permitted me to say “thank you Lord”, every night, as I lay my head to rest.

It helps me to accept that I have the power to do anything, be anything and share this knowledge with the world.

Needing only to appreciate our creator and not expect anything from Him(Her) ever.

Being in total control of “Me” is so important to understand. The Universe is comprised of all the people, alive or dead. The desire and the need to stay healthy and alive forever comes from knowing that we all will live forever.

Is that not an incredible statement!

Having gratitude can and will bring you peace of mind. It will take the fear away and replace it with fortitude. Knowing you are part of the Universe makes it much easier, to make decisions you want to take.

Live your life your way and be responsible for you. Being a writer has been a life long dream. I know I am not the best, I am the best me I can be. I thank my mother, god, my dad and all others that have helped me along my journey.

Thanking all of you on Medium for being part of my life gives me strength.

If we have dreams, let’s share them. If we need help let’s give it away to all that need it.
