What Are We Doing?
A lesson we want to learn
In a world of constant motion and change, Where time slips through our fingers, rearranged, Amidst the chaos, we seek to find, A purpose, a meaning, a reason entwined.
What are we doing in this vast expanse? Are we merely pawns, caught in life’s dance? Or are we creators, shaping our fate, Guided by dreams, with courage innate?
We are seekers of knowledge, hungry and bold, Exploring the mysteries, stories untold. In classrooms and labs, our minds take flight, Unraveling secrets, bringing darkness to light.
We are builders of bridges, connecting divides, Building pathways where harmony resides. With hands intertwined, we reach out in care, Building communities, for all to share.
We are healers of hearts, mending the pain, Comforting souls in the pouring rain. With empathy’s touch and a listening ear, We mend broken spirits, help love reappear.
We are artists and poets, weaving a tale, Expressing emotions, like colors set sail. With paintbrush and pen, we create and inspire, Igniting passions, setting hearts afire.
We are warriors of justice, fighting for rights, Challenging oppression, dismantling its might. With voices united, we stand up and say, Equality and freedom shall reign every day.
What are we doing? We’re living, you see, In a world full of choices, and we hold the key. To shape our own destinies, to make a mark, To leave behind footprints, even in the dark.
So let us be dreamers, believers, and doers, Together we’ll soar, as one, we’ll pursue, A future where kindness and love are supreme, Clasping our purpose, in this wondrous dream.
