What Are 3 of the Latest Interior Design Trends?

You can be “in the know” for your business or blog!

I don’t know about you, but I always like to be aware of the latest trends. Perhaps it’s because I’m 60-years-old (shhhhh! — don’t tell anyone), and I feel that by keeping up to date with the latest trends, it won’t show my age. But the real reason is that I have always been an “early adopter,” especially when it comes to technology.

People are often drawn to trends because they want to feel like they are a part of something. They want to feel like they’re in the know and ahead of the curve. This can be important if you’re running a business, and trends can also make people feel fashionable and stylish.

We moved to a new house in the Spanish countryside 7 months ago, so I have been renovating and decorating. Trends in interior design can significantly impact the overall look and feel of a home.

I recently came across three trends in interior design that I’d like to share with you in this article. These may not all be to your taste, but at least you will be “in the know” about what’s fashionable these days.

Textured Art

One of the hottest trends in interior design right now is textured art. It was pretty popular in the 1990s, but it’s now seeing a revival thanks to social media. There have been over 138 million views of videos mentioning “textured art” on TikTok

Textured art can include anything from traditional paintings with thick brushstrokes to sculptures with intricate patterns to more modern mediums like 3D printing.

Textured art adds interest and depth to a space and can accentuate other design elements in a room. Whatever form it takes, textured art is a great way to add interest and personality to a space. It can also help create a sense of warmth and intimacy, which is especially important in smaller areas.

Art has always been a significant factor in interior design, and over the years, various trends have come and gone. But one thing that is certain is the current popularity of textured art.

Mid-Century Modern

Mid-century modern is another trending topic on TikTok, with the hashtag having over 220 million views. This 1950s style is known for its clean lines and minimalistic approach.

One of the things that make mid-century modern so popular is that it’s very versatile. It can be used in contemporary and traditional spaces, and it never seems to go out of style.

Mid-century modern furniture often features organic shapes and natural materials like wood and metal. It also has a relaxed and comfortable look, perfect for our hectic lives.

Many people are drawn to mid-century modern because it’s a departure from the traditional look of most homes. It’s a great way to add personality and style to your space.

Cottage Core

Another popular trend right now is cottage core, which is much more to my liking. This style takes its inspiration from cottage-style homes, often found in the countryside. There are nearly 10 billion views of this hashtag on TikTok.

Cottage core is all about creating a warm and inviting space reminiscent of a rural cottage. It often features rustic furniture and decor and floral patterns, and chintz fabric.

This style is perfect for people who want to create a cozy and comfortable home. It’s also a great way to add color and personality to a space.

These are just a few of the popular trends in interior design right now. If you’re looking to update your home or simply curious about what’s trending, I hope you’re happy to be in the know. And, if you’re a blogger, affiliate marketer, or run your own business, hopefully, you will find this information helpful.
