Those who follow my stories may know that my husband and I are considering making our dream come true and starting a nomadic life. Our dream destination is the German island of Sylt.

Within the last few weeks, we’ve been hunting for an apartment.

We checked out local real-estate agencies. I had a look at their websites to explore what’s currently open for a year.

Sounds easy? It’s been a tough time.

Finally, we got a good deal from a local agency and signed the lease today. Compared to the apartment we currently live in, the flat is very small.

Still, we’re happy that we‘ve found a new base.

A place to live and sleep. Space to work remotely. A playroom for our son.
