Well, Now You Know That I Was Right

A few weeks ago, I talked about starting multiple businesses simultaneously.

While I received many responses and people’s opinions on starting only one business at a time, I kept my word and explained why I believe it’s a stupid move, and this platform indeed proved me right.

In case you have no idea what’s going on because you’re drunk

This month, as much as it pisses me off, many great writers got suspended unfairly (and fairly for some, yes, I’m harsh), and we still have no idea why.

In fact, I’m still surprised as to how I am still alive.

Either way, not only writers who got suspended can’t earn money, but writers who are still here are also affected by this unexpected turn. Almost half of the great writers who supported me are gone.

After this incident, I was waiting (and I’m still waiting) for my turn to get blocked by some stupid spam glitch, but luckily, I’m still here (somehow), making stupid jokes that no one laughs at.

Sorry mate, I ain’t that optimistic.

What pisses me off so much is that writers who not only paid more for FoM (Fat of Medium, sorry I got lost, Friend of Medium) but who are also against AI and spam got suspended (listen to me, THEY got suspended).

What the heck?

Anyhow, many writers have already written about this unfairness, and to all the great writers who got suspended (and trust me, I can feel your rage), I really wish y’all the best and I hope you guys will come back.

We miss y’all.

Now, coming back to our day, I was right

So a while ago, I talked about what success means to me and what I’m doing. I talked about managing multiple businesses at once, and I fully encourage those (especially those who are extremely serious about business) to start more than two businesses.

But, dude, you’re being too hard on me.

Son (or a single mother, I don’t know, shut up), you haven’t seen the real hardship of having businesses; it’s just the beginning.

The truth is, we don’t know what will wait for us tomorrow. When we watch YouTube and get inspired by these people who claim to make $10k, we easily become optimistic and think there won’t be any downside when it comes to having businesses, but that’s far from the truth (as you all realized).

Which is why it’s always better to have plan B, or, to be more specific, to have another business. Because if you run two businesses, even if you get suspended, you’ll still be able to focus on your other business.

Sure, you might not be able to buy dinner and your favorite snacks (and probably homeless), but hey, at least you’re getting something, and it’s better than nothing.

Lessons we learned (well, I learned before, but anyway)

- You’re still fat

- Always have a backup (business in this case)

- Anything can happen, and you should always be prepared

- And what else? I don’t know about making pizzas?

In conclusion

My heart breaks for these amazing people who got suspended unfairly, and I really hope they started other businesses, and I really hope they’re working on them.

Make sure to show them love, because it will mean a lot to them.
