Floating on a red sky far above Dreaming about what once was and the things that never came to be

I left you on your own in the cruelest possible way Yet you still love me even though you’ll never see me again

In the darkest of times I watch over you I see you cry knowing I can never wipe your tears

In the brightest of times when the sun shines I'd tell you to smile more be happy there is no tomorrow

I wish I could say to you every moment matters You never know when the end is near

The sorrow I feel when I realize I’ll never get another day with you not even a minute or second

I wish so much I hadn’t left Hugging you once more would be everything Now all I’m left with are memories

Memories of a time where we were together I held your hand you smiled and looked into my eyes

I’d give my heart for you to know you’re in my mind every day I’m sorry I left I’m sorry I left

My choice was never to leave you It happened though I fought for you It broke my heart I love you Yet, we’ll never meet again
