Well Hello There Medium. Charmed I’m sure.

Over the last few months, I’ve read and learned, been inspired and enticed, by what I’ve seen here on Medium. Working a demanding fulltime job means not as many visits to Medium as I’d like, but I do enjoy my time here!

I love to read. As I get old enough for my mailbox to be filled by advertisements about Medicare advantage policies, I enjoy reading more and more. I suppose it was inevitable I’d find my way onto this platform.

My first exposure to Medium came thru Twitter postings by (shameless plug #1) Madison Sasser, whose life story and writings on Twitter alerted me to the world which is Medium. Thanks again Madison!

So, here I am. Hello! I will keep reading, clapping, commenting, and conversing. And listening to what you are saying. I am but a student in this land, and all of you are my teachers.

When the spirit, or the kick to the butt, moves me off the sofa again, I will pass along some thoughts, or comments, or perhaps even a story or two. Hopefully very soon! But I'm keeping my Fig Newtons.
