What you need to know about submission guidelines

Welcome to The Chocolate River.
Here at The Chocolate River, stories flow like chocolate down a river. Imagine tucking into bed with your favorite cup of hot chocolate and your favorite read.
That makes a sweet bedtime read for anyone, young or old!
I am excited to launch my first publication on Medium.
The publication is owned by Carol Townend.

- We do not accept poetry in this publication, however, you can publish poetry in Creative Passions and The Short Form.

- This is a non-violent fiction and non-sexual publication that aims to provide creators with a safe space to write magical and imaginative fiction stories for adults, children, and teenagers alike, therefore no swear words please, and no references to rape or any form of abuse.
- Your story should include properly credited images.
- Please add a kicker that clearly states whether your story is an adult story, a teenager’s story, or a young children’s story.
- You are free to use your own tags prior to submitting, as long as they are appropriate to these guidelines and your story.
