Welcome to EduCreate
A pub to help educators succeed on Medium as readers and writers

Managed by iSophist
EduCreation is a collective of educators who are creating content online. While our roots are deeply embedded in education, we believe that educators are great creators in any subject matter.
That’s why we’ve expanded our platform to be more than just a hub for education-related articles. At EduCreate, you’ll find a safe and supportive community where educators can publish articles on any topic area that interests them.
While we will publish most any topic that empowers you as an EduCreator, here are some of the most common topics recently:
- #Education — Thoughts about education as a discipline, institution, or business.
- #Leadership — Insights for leading within educational settings and/or developing the next generation of leaders.
- #Teaching — Reflections on practice, including stories, tips, activities, and assignments.
- #Creator Mindset — Connections to creator practices or the creator economy
- #Soft Skills — Identifying, developing, and deploying the real-world skills for success in all settings.
- #Technology — Updates and reflections on the integration of technology into education and trainng
- #Life — Any expertise you have as an educator or creator that benefits a new audience here on Medium.
We can now boost your articles.
We’re excited to announce our new “boost” publication feature. This allows us to nominate the best articles from our platform to be boosted by Medium curators.
Articles that receive this special boost usually gain at least an additional 500 views, and often much more. This is a fantastic opportunity to get your writing in front of a broader audience.
To further support our growing community, we’ve partnered with iSophist to create a private community space where you can share ideas, seek feedback, and collaborate with other educators.
As an added bonus, we’ve also launched the Boost Chatbot, a tool designed to help you improve your articles and maximize their reach.
Join us at EduCreate, where educators become creators in every sense of the word.
Not just a publication … a community.
Engagement is important in social environments. Becoming an author for this collection means that you agree to read and engage the whole EduCreation community as we post our great ideas here.
While you do not have to be a paid member of Medium, we do highly recommend that you join. This allows you to get paid for your writing and allows you to interact more fully with the community.
To become an author:
- Become a medium member (if not already). This allows you to read your fellow educators work with no limits. (Click here to join.)
- Subscribe to The Creator Classroom newsletter for tips and updates. This is completely free … no need to be a paid member of anything.
- Click follow button by the EduCreate publication to be sure you can read your fellow writers’ work.
- Join our private community for more resources and support.
- Finally, email me your Medium handle at [email protected] and let me know what kinds of things you want to write about.
Note: You can find your medium handle in your profile link. For example, mine is [@lancecummings].
How to Publish:
- Once I have added you as an author, you will find our publication in the drop down menu next to the publish button — Add to publication.

⭐ You should add your piece to the publication before hitting Publish.
- You should then add relevant tags, check the preview, and check the metered box (if have joined Medium’s partnership program.
- Once you submit your piece, I will review your piece. I try to give constructive feedback that will get you more readers and help you get distributed by Medium’s curators.
- Once you’ve made any requested changes, I’ll hit publish! And your article will be shipped! 🚢
Formatting Requirements
Articles should follow Medium best practices. In general, this means:
- Citing sources & images
- Including featured image on top
- Formatting titles in title case and sub-sections in sentence case
- Leaving behind Medium partnership paywall (for better distribution)
In short, it should look like a Medium article, not a Twitter thread or LinkedIn post.
