What is Chryptianity and how to pronounce it?

Chryptianity is a post-Christian religion, though religion may be too strong of a word for it. Basically, it is a new belief system based on a new understanding of the stories in the Bible. I like to think of it as an adult version, while up to now we have been fed the child’s version of events and their significance.

First things first. How does one pronounce the word Chryptianity? First let us consider Christianity which can be broken down into the following five syllables: [KRIST] + [EE] + [AN] + [UH] + [TEE]. Chryptianity is [KRIPT] + [EE] + [AN] + [UH] + [TEE]. One who follows Chryptianity is a Chryptian which is pronounced [KRIPT]+ [CHUHN], just as Christian is [KRIS] + [CHUHN].

The primary difference between the old name and the new is that Christianity was centered on Christ while Chryptianity is focused on the crypt because the body of Jesus’ teachings is hidden through encryption.
