I love that our community is back

I received the great news that ILLUMINATION has reopened! Yay.

It is a great lesson of the value of our community. It is more than just a publication. It is the collection of great folks here who are supportive, filled with desire to be creative, and are just all around lovely people.

I love all of you so much and it has been exciting to see how much we’ve built this place up over the past couple of months since ILLUMINATION opened for business.

I can remember the original opening post inviting me to sign up. I was excited, but never would have guessed we would accomplish so much, including surviving being offline for a while.

I hope we don’t have this situation again. I was left a little adrift when I couldn’t find the publication. My biggest fear was that the community would disperse. I don’t think that will happen. It is inspiring to see all the effort people put into writing articles and writing the customer service here to express their desire to get this place back up and opened for the 3,000 plus readers and writers who spend a little (or a lot) of time here.

Welcome back Dr Mehmet Yildiz! It is great to have you back in the captain’s chair. And, it’s great to be surrounded by all of the passionate people who create so many wonderful reads that add so much to my life.

It is a blessing to have such a great crew of writers during these days of social isolation. All of you have kept me from feeling lonely. I love that.

Congratulations everyone! Keep up the great work. Remain true to our community spirit of synergy, innovation and development of our art and science.
