Welcome Aboard the ILLUMINATION Publication!
Story writing tips for new illuminators.

This is a quick introduction to article formatting basics. Whether you are an established writer of many years or you are a new writer and you’ve just arrived on Medium and here on this exciting new publication, this is for you.
The most useful advice you can get for how to format your article, which will give you the best chance at curation and keeping your readers' attention, is to have a look through these two guides. They will help you get accustomed to the way Medium works.
There are two ways to add your work to a publication. ILLUMINATION now only accepts drafts.
You can also read as many articles as possible to get a feel for what looks good, reads well and tickles your fancy.
We like to experiment here. If you’d like some challenges which are designed to develop your writing skills, I highly recommend the following articles.
Perhaps you are looking to break into YouTube fame. You might enjoy recording a video of yourself ‘highlighting your capabilities and featuring your content’ as suggested by Dr Mehmet Yildiz, our amazing leader.
There’s plenty of other material for you to get stuck into to find out how and what and why. Or you might prefer to dive straight into publishing something!
Please check out Dr Mehmet Yildiz where you’ll find a list of all the ILLUMINATION daily encouragement, support, inspiration, and updates.
I took a month or two to get a few stories out of my system. It was rather therapeutic. Others only read, clapped and responded to articles they enjoyed before taking the plunge into writing. Maybe you’d like to try a bit of both.
Most importantly please enjoy the trip.
Ahoy, me hearties!
