Weekly Pentina Prompt: It’s Artificial
Write a 50-word story from an AI generated image

The above images are not real. They are not actual people, works of art, or cats. They are not photographs. There is no copyright or attribution required to use them because a computer made them up on the spot.
These images are computer generated on the fly by a form of artificial intelligence known as a Generative Adversarial Network (GAN) which has been trained by lots of actual images to create these inhuman hybrids. If you use it, you will never get the same image as I do and never the same image twice. You might even find some freak occurrences with half-missing glasses, unusually large earlobes, or eyeballs in the wrong places. Don’t believe me? Stop reading this right now and go try it.
How long did you spend on there? No matter. Now that you understand robots are going to take over the internet and use it to control our weak minds, it’s time to write a story. So, head back over to thispersondoesnotexist.com and start generating some very real-looking fake images until you find one that inspires a Pentina.
At least this week, the picture part of your story is easy. Your prompt is to generate an interesting face (or work of art, or cat) using this mind-boggling tool and write a 50-word story about that image.
Be sure to save your image and use it as the featured photo for your Pentina. Just don’t try using an image of a horse — those still need a little work ;-).
