The Razor is a literary magazine part of the Gotham Writers Workshop. Every month they publish two pieces — one work of nonfiction and one fiction.
Fiction and Nonfiction: They have very simple rules regardless of which type of writing you wish to submit. The work can not be more than 2,000 words, and they want stories where every word counts. This is the basic — less is more, and only use the words needed — in other words — the basic rules of good writing.
They pay $100.00 a story.

If you are looking for tech-related markets, this could be a good choice for you. Hasura is a website that provides an open-source engine for its customers, giving them real-time GraphQL APIs on existing or new Postgres databases. They are looking for technical blog posts that are related to Hasura.
The guidelines page for Hasura has a link for interested writers to apply to apply to become part of the writer program. You will need to apply with a proposal. If accepted, the editors will contact you to assist in creating an outline.
Nonfiction: Although they are open to suggestions (anything related to Hasure, GraphQL Engine, or GraphQL), they have a few topics they are especially interested in. These topics include walkthroughs on building a full-stack, articles on working with GraphQL, tutorials on how to use Hasura.

This is a monthly magazine for people who breed, show, or raise paint horses.
Nonfiction: The Paint Horse Journal looks for historical, general interest, and how-to nonfiction articles. The guidelines are beneficial — this is a 4-page document that will walk you through everything, starting with the pitch. It also goes over the voice of the article, subheadings, lists, the general writing style, and the editing style.
